Wow absolutely love this - shame I'm not really any good at building electronics.
I saw one of these at university about 5 years ago where they had a 180 degree screen so people could visualise building designs then print out models of their designs using a similar printer.

I seldom drop comments, but i did a few searching and wound up here "Build your own 3d Printer".
And I do have a couple of questions for you if it's
allright. Is it simply me or does it appear like some of these responses appear like they are
coming from brain dead folks? :-P And, if you are posting on other social sites, I'd like to follow
